Fixed Wireless Connection
Unplug the Router for 15 seconds and reconnect
If red/blue light still on, check POE cable (Little Black Box connected to Router)
Unplugged POE, reconnect and wait 4 to 5 minutes to see if the Internet reconnects.
Make sure all cords are plugged into the router and the POE with a firm connection.
If the lights do not return green and internet is not restored, please contact CIS to send a technician.
Blue Light means router works, but radio is not connected to the router.
Troubleshooting Your
Fiber Connection
Check Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected to the modem/router and wall outlet.
Restart Equipment: Power cycle the modem and router by unplugging them for 30 seconds, then plugging them back in.
Check for Outages: Visit the service provider’s website or use their app to check for any reported outages in your area.
Device Restart: Restart the device experiencing issues (computer, smartphone, etc.).
Test Different Devices: Connect a different device to the network to see if the issue persists.
Run Speed Tests: Use an online speed test to check your internet speed and stability.
Update Firmware: Ensure the router’s firmware is up to date.
Disable VPNs/Firewalls: Temporarily disable any VPNs or firewalls to see if they’re causing connectivity issues.
Check Wi-Fi Settings: Make sure you’re connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the network is not overloaded.
